Why we started
The watch in the drawer.
Most families have one. A watch that belonged to a father or a grandfather, kept in a drawer long after anyone wore it. It was rarely the most expensive thing he owned. It was the thing he wore every day: to work, to weddings, to the hospital the morning his first child was born.
That's why it was kept. Not for the name on the dial. For the years it was there.
